Beginning Sound Vocabulary

At Dezol, our products are not only intended to work great for mainstream students, but are also designed to addresses the difficulties faced by English Language Learners (ELL). For example, a Spanish-speaking child may recognize an image of an umbrella, but telling that student “ŭ like umbrella” only confuses them because they know that image as a paraguas (the Spanish word for umbrella). Unless the child has a good understanding of what each images is, they will not understand the words they represent.

This game is designed to help both mainstream and ELL students understand the vocabulary and images required to use our Beginning Sound series of tablet and SMART board games.
